Digital Transformation in Organizations

Organizations have undertaken digital transformation by increasing digital touchpoints at individual and/or group levels. The goal of digital transformation is to seek for opportunities to grow profits as well as to improve the decision processes. This course highlights past and current research on the adoption of ubiquitous media systems in organizations to take into account managerial needs in terms of communication, collaboration and decision making. Participants are expected to understand psychological mechanisms in communication and decision making processes, to develop their own lenses on a selected topic, and to independently discuss substantive implications related to trends and goals in digital transformation that benefit organizations seeking to adapt to digital environments in productive ways.


The course consists of two main elements: seminar and seminar paper.
